MAR 17 - APR 28 // LIVE 'BUDOKON MEETS KETTLEBELLS' IMMERSION
Immerse yourself for 7 weeks in our newly designed 'BUDOKON MEETS KETTLEBELLS' class with our BDK teacher & Montana apprentice Rachel Kramer.
This one is for anyone who wants to elevate their strength, body awareness, coordination, stabilization, mobility, agility and endurance by diving deep into the world of Kettlebells through the lens Budokon.
Rachel will be introducing the fundamentals needed in order to transition and flow skillfully as well as efficiently in Budokon style while bearing the extra weight of a Kettlebell. She will break down signature Budokon Mobility, Yoga & Crawling Patterns with and without the weight of the Kettlebells. At the end of each class we integrate all movement patterns into one seamless, challenging but yet fun movement chain for you to repeat, sweat and flow. This way you will build a great foundation of skills for you to expand your movement vernacular and incorporate Kettlebells into your personal practice.
Experience with a Kettlebell is NOT necessary. If you do not have access to a Kettlebell, a light to medium weight Dumbbell can be used. Our suggested weight options for your Kettlebells are 8lb, 13lb, 18lb and 26lb to use for different exercises & transitions.
Our 'BUDOKON MEETS KETTLEBELLS' classes are hosted on zoom LIVE every Thursday starting at 10am MST from March 17th - April 28th and each 1 hour long.
Rachel started her movement journey as a semi-professional soccer player for 20 years & continued her collegiate career until experiencing 2 back to back knee injuries that forced her to step away from the game. During her training as a soccer player & rehabilitation she was introduced to the world of Kettlebells for its ability to improve stabilization, coordination, explosiveness & speed as well as core strength. As she searched for a practice that promoted longevity, athletic application, and restorative qualities Budokon immediately ignited her commitment towards the Guru Killer journey. Rachel joined us in Montana for our Yoga & Mobility Teacher Training in 2021 and knew she wanted to make Budokon her life. After returning home, she quit her job & minimized all her belongings and moved to Montana to dedicate herself to assisting the behind the scenes while learning the BDK Mixed Movement Arts System & the Way of the Warrior Spirit.
Join this Warrior Woman as she shares the fundamental principles needed to take your confidence integrating Kettlebells into your Budokon practice to a new level. We are looking forward to have you join us!
If you can not join us live, you can download the recordings from here once the immersion series is completed.
