BDK COMMUNITY SUNDAY SESSION :: DONATION CLASS FOR BEKO

To close out the year in the spirit of community, love & support we are inviting you to join us for our last BDK COMMUNITY SUNDAY SESSION to help our Budokon Brother Beko Aygee to finance his hip surgery.

@bekokaygee is a dear friend, student, brother and teacher within the Budokon community. He has dedicated his life towards his passion of teaching movement and sharing Budokon to help the well-being of others. He now is in need of help from our BDK Family.

In 2014, Beko was diagnosed with a severe form of arthritis, which has steadily worsened over the years. It has deteriorated so much that he struggles to walk unaided for just a few minutes. He is using a walking stick, his teaching are significantly compromised, and the range of movement styles he can offer is minimal. He needs a ceramic hip resurfacing operation to enable him to get back to his previously active lifestyle and teachings. Currently, the operation is only available in Canada, South Africa, Italy and Belgium, with a price in the region of 25,000 Euros.

Your donations will help our brother to pay for the needed operation and the post operative care. Today we want to ask our Budokon Family from all over the world to help us help Beko by donating towards this groundbreaking surgery.

Anything will help us reach this goal. All proceeds for this class will go to Beko's GoFundMe page.

Beko will be joining us LIVE from the UK for a Conversation with Cameron Shayne from 9-10am MST. After that we will get moving with Melayne Shayne for another hour.
